☀️Job Overview:

Are you a food enthusiast with great skills in the kitchen while living with a passion for cooking for everyone and amazing dinner? We are looking for an individual with great discipline and organisational skills to prepare one of the greatest and most looked for moments of the day. 

✅Responsibilities:

• Together with the Head-chef, create a weekly dinner menu with the most locally sourced ingredients and change it according to the seasons.
• Plan for any allergies or special requests from our guests and staff.
• Help the Head-chef check the inventory of food items and kitchen supplies, and place orders with the Head-chef as needed to maintain stock, to prevent shortages or overstocking of supplies.
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards in your workplace.
• Regularly inspect kitchen equipment and report any issues for maintenance.
• Monitor food storage practices to prevent contamination and spoilage.
• Address any inquiries, special requests, or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collect feedback from everyone to improve the dinner experience.
• Work together with the Head-chef and the volunteers in order to deliver a high quality dinner for everyone.

🏅Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and rise under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

⚡️Lightning operation:

After checkout on Saturdays, around 12am, the entire Wave Nest crew will unite to deep clean the camp for a few hours. Each member of the crew has a role. In the kitchen department, you will join the Head-chef, Sous-Chef and the Breakfast Chef and do a deep clean of the kitchen and food serving area.

• Time Off: Benefit from one day off per week, aligned with the main department’s schedule, to explore the surroundings, spend the whole day in the water or simply relax and recharge.
